I drew this cartoon because people need guidance, and someone or something, to look up to.
Too often people miss connecting with younger people, or others they could positively influence, by either giving too much or too little, and without enough context about where that too much or too little comes from.
No doubt it's usually from the best intentions...
Young people don't have enough experience to accurately judge what's going on, when they're given too much or too little. They can resent too much as easy as too little, and come out with zero understanding about what their parents and protectors have been up to.
But- give someone a seed of inspiration they can plant and watch grow (and show them how to talk and listen), and maybe they'll think there's some benefit to growing alongside you.
What does mindfulness have to do with inspiration? Notice what you inspire in others.
Is it resentment, silence, interest, or hope? Notice and adjust, if needed. Ask questions, make space, give information, and be an inspiration.
Be mindful enough to understand what you inspire in others, and what you need to be inspired by. Show people how to self-reflect, so they can do the same.
