Observation of moments, as they happen,  helps you notice if you are making choices on purpose. Without mindful attention, People often make choices "automatically."

Because of the brain's tendency to "run the automatic choice program," observe the present closely to make sure all choices are on purpose. Time and circumstances are always shifting, so mindful attention helps keep your choices up to date.

Even simple body movements that we usually perform automatically, like walking or other movements in the gait, work better when done mindfully.

Purposeful relaxation, and more balanced movements can be achieved with the simple choice to move more mindfully.

Other possible new choices in the moment...

  • speak in a calm or kind tone
  • leave space in conversation instead of talking over someone
  • choose not to rush
  • choose to take a break instead of continuing in stress
  • infinite choices are available...if you notice choice is possible, in any given moment
