CHORES

When doing chores, instead of powering through them, use it as mindfulness training time.

When you practice mindfulness, your mental, emotional and physical self all meet up in the same moment, and it feels good! The feeling is like childhood (if you had nice moments in childhood) when everything was new, and your mind wasn't concerned with "the schedule" or bills, or anything except what was happening NOW.

Add some magic feeling to the boring nature of chores or repetitive tasks and experience them as new again. Listen, look, feel, breathe, and relax into subtle sensations to timewarp back to childhood when doing chores was fun.

Don't edit out whole sections of your day by rushing to the next thing. When seen and felt in a new light, each moment can feel like you're right where you need to be.
